Spring is usually when activity in Fountain Hills peaks, and 2022 looks no different. Whether you’re into sports, the arts, or all things family, the next two months will be full of things to do.

There’s still some bite in the air, but that probably won’t dampen the fun that unfolds in and around Fountain Hills starting in February. The Waste Management Phoenix Open and Cactus League Spring Training games (assuming lockdown resumes soon) roll out in the coming weeks, with local attractions like Concours in the Hills (February 12) and the Fountain Festival of Fine Arts and Crafts ( Feb. 25-27) is expected to attract visitors from across the state.

March is even busier, with the Tour d’Artistes, Memorial Disc Golf Championship and Fountain Hills Fine Art and Wine Festival all scheduled for March 4-6. These events will be followed by the Mountain to Fountain and Specialized Cactus Cup held at McDowell Mountain Regional Park, the Irish Fountain Festival, Fountain Hills Day, Basant Mela Kite Festival, Movie in the Park and more. again, all before the calendar flips to April.

For those who have been cooped up for the past few months, all of these outdoor activities provide plenty of options for those looking to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and have fun.
